My name is Irma Gomez and I’m a critical care nurse, educator, wife, mom and a grandma to two dogs and a cat. I’m also an avid crafter and the founder of 1ArtsyRN Badge Bling N Things… but more on that shortly.
From Avid Crafter to Small Business Owner
Back in 2018 I began making decorative badge reels for myself and coworkers. I didn’t know it at that time, but my crafting addiction would soon become the spark that ignited my small business. It’s like the old saying goes, “Do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life”. I have been fortunate in that sense because I love being a nurse, and my crafting gives me a creative outlet to manage the stressors of my day job and bring joy to those who wear my products. Everything I make is handmade with love. I hope that my clients enjoy my products for many years to come.
